Phil is an extraordinary social documentary photographer and filmmaker whose work focuses on the welfare of indigenous cultures, the value these cultures represent, and the challenges they face. His recent exhibition, “Stirring the Fire,” aims to inspire a global movement to empower women and girls. Central to Phil’s work is bridging the gap between awareness and action; to that end, with his latest project he has created a database of resources intended to provide specific opportunities for those wanting to help women and girls achieve social and economic justice worldwide.
