In 2001, John wrangled some of the region’s most talented musicians and formed The Long Winters. Since then, he’s maintained a unique status amidst Seattle’s music scene as the consummate singer/songwriter and indie music collaborative hub—appearing on albums by Death Cab for Cutie, Nada Surf, Harvey Danger, The Decemberists, David Bazan, Visqueen, Say Hi, and more.
