As the Executive Director of Town Hall Seattle, Wier works at the epicenter of the city’s creative, civic, and intellectual life. More than 340 events take a Town Hall stage each year, ranging from speeches by President Obama to the King County Spelling Bee. Whether musical, political, scientific, literary, or beyond, Wier packs all this under one remarkable nonprofit roof in Seattle’s historic First Hill neighborhood. Seattle: views of the skyline, Vashon Island, Gas Works Park, the Olympic Mountains; music by The Long Winters, Heart, Caspar Babypants, The Posies; music at The Triple Door, The Comet Tavern; drinks at Re-bar, The Hideout; food at Loreena’s Mobile Unit, Lark, Shiro’s.
