Chris is the Director of the Neighborhood Farmers Market Alliance and organized the first neighborhood farmers markets in Seattle devoted exclusively to local farmers and local food. She kicked off this grassroots movement not just in spirit but in action, ultimately arriving at a model that includes not just local fruits and vegetables, but local eggs, cheeses, meats, poultry, wines, fish, and more. Seattle: Herkimer Coffee on University Way, Washington Park Arboretum and crow rookery at twilight, Veraci Pizza at the Phinney Ridge Farmers Market on Friday night.
